Our History
Sestili Nursery has been located in South Oakland in Pittsburgh since it’s humble beginning. Originally founded as a landscaping service, Italian immigrants Max and Esther Sestili (see photo), operated the business from their home. The Nursery building was built in 1959, and opened for business.Today, Ron Sestili, brother-in-law Chuck Beck and Chuck’s son Patrick Beck oversee the daily operation of Sestili Nursery. Over the years, and sometimes behind the scenes, many family members contributed their time and talent to the business, and still do so today.
